A guy while getting on to the auto randomly asked the driver "If the auto would
be running tomorrow?". As thought the words ignited a spark inside the latter ,
what i heard next is a common man's word pouring out “Please brother,We are
common people, we don't need to see left or right, be blind and move on because
everyone is a Ruffian “.
The whole city is preparing for the Bandh (strike ) in their own way. I was out to fetch my own share of ration thinking what if the shops remain closed I didn't want to take a chance, the debate is on TV with heated discussion on
whether the strike is legal or illegal ,everyone trying to prove their point.
The anchors having a tough time to handle these politicians blasting out their tonsils to make their point audible to reassure the “people”.
Yes, we the people who want to spend the days in peace, in prosperity with
families in safety. Today happens to be the 10th anniversary of Godhra ,switched on the national channels to see the same situation - the only difference is that the people are more educated, speaking absolutely perfect English. Whenever my husband calls me up from what we call a country of opportunities, America he is asking if I am fine ,and that is everything okay, as if always in a fear and uncertainty, why he has to be scared leaving a self dependent ,physically fit woman who is 27 years old and had been in this city for the last 5 years?
We are making ourselves look like bunch of idiots, resigned to the "fate" who
take shelter from our homes to Offices and spending weekends in malls. Kudos to the mushroom like IT jobs typing bunch of codes rewritten million times before to bring in a LCD or to pay the EMIs .We wont move an inch, even if we do we will end up in our office cafeterias until our house is on fire.

Its been a while I am following ur writings and everytime It makes me perplexed as it seems to me like a paradox though with little hope of solution inherent in it.Everytime u put ur own view forward,ur own thoughts,but the more u go on reading it the viewing angle becomes wider and wider and includes almost everyone in its scope and mandates them to start thinking over.
Being aware of the big picture is difficult even when you stare at something so grand as the grand canyon. Being aware of it even when you are barely metres away from ground zero -- is something which not many people can.
