Marriage : A Domestic Derivative.

I know people would be really annoyed and raised brows reading
the title, some people might even comment I am writing stuffs against an age old ritual and a holy custom, Heritage what not.
With the wedding season on full swing and me getting updated about how everyone is preparing for the most auspicious ceremony of
celebrating the union of
two souls. Being already married for last 4 years thought why not make people face the mirror.

I wanted to write this since a long time but couldn't maybe the same

reason why some people who are married and agree to every word I write
but cant say that openly - reason being “Dogma”. I will try not to put any ideas or thought about marriage from now on - Its the definition, different people both men and women alike had given me at different stages of life.

In college days I used to see so many people around me so much in love
nor that I wasn't, girls who had never given heed to many guys where suddenly getting hooked to them - reason being “Placement”. I had asked them at times what made you suddenly hook up with the respective person- answer “Settlement”.

College finishes the grasses grow greener the pasture grows thicker

seasons of break offs, so did I .Suddenly the female working class
started looking for senior peers when asked why  - “they are already on he top of the ladder “ If anyone has a problem understanding that
means “house bought and fully furnished and  car bought“.

Now suddenly the guys are crossing the 25 years of life. Some are
still single, because their peers(working class ladies) have already
settled for the much higher on ladder options.
With the constant parental pressure of putting their profiles on
matrimonial sites, they make a way out
by putting their pictures in albums open to public standing near the statue of liberty or the Eiffel Tower, and don't forget the used swanky car they have bought during those stay. The funny part is that when your ex is liking the photos of your would be and than your would be happens to be the ex of your ex's present bf , OK i have lost it its easier to explain the P versus NP problem.

If that isn't enough they would be seen roaming in malls with their
tags which is supposed to be their identity card around their neck
observing how many people have seen the name engraved on the lace. The identity card becomes the identity what an irony.

Few years back I got a call from a friend of mine that she is

hopelessly in search of a guy because all her friends are getting
married she is jobless and needs security i told her why don't u take
up some courses she said “I have started going to VLCC for sessions
“. Few days I happened to call her at wee hours of night asking “hope
your husband doesn't mind” she said she is at her parent's place for
last 4 months and the marriage doesn't seem to work and she is taking some technical courses to find a job.

We all tend to forget after the years we have spent with our parents

its our respective partners we are supposed to spend life with, but
the sad part is the people who are getting married come together not to have each other by their sides but what they have got to offer.
Marriage is not a LIC insurance policy with guaranteed return. Its the life long investment you can make without thinking what is being
spent.

So all the ladies and gentlemen out there blushing pink and red at the
thought of putting on happy honey moon pictures and flaunting the golden jewellery remember marriages are not made in heaven they are made by us and try to look for a friend, a partner not an ATM or key to unlimited fun. Its like any other relation anger, frustration, joy, companionship and last and but not the least to by each others side
in “bankruptcy”.

P.S .Not any of the people mentioned are imaginary or the words are
coincidental. The names are not mentioned to prevent myself from being eaten alive.

Nicely pointed out sector of indian society which has grown up eating with their hand, but now struggles with fork and knife like a knight who never leaves his battle.
Though I would say,its more common with the spineless people called SW Professional, who in themselves are never lawbreaker(No spine,u see) but have no moral at all
